One of our clients is hiring Construction Labourers to join their sport surface installation team. This is a full time, physically demanding role for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and working outdoors. Successful candidates will assist with the installation of artificial turf and athletic sport surfaces while supporting experienced paint and turf crews on a variety of commercial projects.
Job Responsibilities
Move and lift construction materials, including 50 lb bags
Transport drums of paint using dollies and other equipment
Assist with moving and installing large rolls of artificial turf
Support the paint crew by mixing and applying paint
Assist the turf crew with sport surface installations
Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Follow all safety procedures and site regulations
Requirements
Ability to perform heavy physical labour throughout the workday
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Reliable transportation to the worksite or meeting location
Robust work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset
Required PPE
Candidates must have:
Construction work boots
Hard hat
High-visibility safety vest
Pay: $21.00 per hour
