Qualifications

● Registered as a Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.

● Robust knowledge of Ontario Building Code (OBC) structural design.

● Positive understanding of the architectural requirements of OBC, with the ability to coordinate effectively with architects and designers.

● Proficient in Autodesk Revit for structural modeling and project coordination.

● Experience preparing structural drawings and calculations for residential and small scale commercial building projects.

● Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

● Fluent in English and Chinese

Responsibilities

● Prepare structural designs, calculations,



and construction drawings for residential and small scale commercial projects.

● Coordinate closely with architects, designers, and consultants throughout the design process.

● Coordinate architectural drawings and provide practical structural solutions.

● Ensure designs comply with the Ontario Building Code and applicable engineering standard

● Support permit applications and respond to municipal review comments when required.
