Store-Rite Junior Engineer - Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

· Provide Structural Engineering support to the sales and design departments on Racking, Mezzanine and Security fencing projects.

· Provide Structural Engineering and Project Management support to the manufacturing shop infrastructure and processes

· Hold the goal of working toward becoming a Qualified Engineer while providing Engineering solutions under the guidance and oversight of Store-Rite’s Professional Engineer

· Provide Structural Engineering guidance and advice to Upper Management

· Strive to provide forward thinking solutions for the Engineering and Design departments to take advantage of prospects and tackle threats

· Maintain currency with local building code and local fire code relevant to Store-Rite products and services

· Become proficient at autoCAD and Complete Sales autoCAD drawings as required to support the sales department on Racking, Mezzanine and Security fencing projects.

· Complete Customer approval autoCAD drawings as required to support the sales department on Racking, Mezzanine and Security fencing projects.

· Complete Production autoCAD drawings as required





· Conduct spot checks on Production drawings related to products before they are manufactured or shipped; reviewing for dimension and quality details.

· Conduct Site reviews at Project locations as required to complete Sales drawings, Approval drawings, Production drawings, PSR Reports and Permit drawings

· Complete takeoffs and produce material lists complete with job costing

· Consistently improve upon Racking and other product design knowledge so as to better support sales

· Review and respond to to day-to-day Engineering related requests from Sales and Design.

· Conduct all interactions with Store-Rite customers and Store-Rite employees in a professional and positive manner.

· Engage in challenging projects for development purposes; requesting assistance as required.

· Assist with Current Product Developments as directed by Upper Management.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
