Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant Level 1 or Level 2 to join our dental practice for 18 Month Maternity leave with a big possibility to stay permanently. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist the dental team with procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
Take dental radiographs.
Manage patient records using dental software.
Provide chairside support during examinations, cleanings, and complex procedures
Educate patients on oral health care and post-treatment instructions




Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment throughout the clinic

Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including radiography and sterilization procedures
Robust understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in medical office administration is a plus
Knowledge of dental assisting best practices and safety standards
