Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal truck performance
Verify shipment accuracy, complete delivery documentation, and maintain detailed logs of all trips and freight movements
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate schedules and resolve any delivery issues promptly




Assist with forklift operation for loading/unloading freight at warehouses or distribution centers
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company policies

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably in local or regional routes
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and basic automotive repair skills
Solid attention to detail for verifying shipments and maintaining accurate records
Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, sit, and walk for extended periods during shifts
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and dispatchers effectively
