Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepares and verifies shipment documentation
- Prepares NAFTA documentation
- Supports sales and manufacturing processes through material management
- Adherence to industry and internal standards
Job Duties:
- Approves and processes incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials according to documentation
- Approves and processes outgoing materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials according to documentation
- Verifies and confirms shipping paperwork including packing lists, invoices and courier details
- Prepares documentation for international shipments
- Supports accounting by providing accurate and complete Shipping/Receiving documentation for invoicing and payables
- Utilizes forklifts and cranes as needed
- Maintains warehouse facility and equipment
- Communicates with internal departments and external clients
- Inventory Management
Skills/Qualifications:
- Analyzing Information, Reporting Results, Documentation Skills, Promoting Process Improvement, Safety Management, Managing Processes, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Supports Innovation, Coordination, Inventory Control, Attention to Detail, Judgment
Required:
- 2 years progressive experience in Shipping/Receiving
- Written and Verbal Communication in English
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn new software solutions
- Ability to read and interpret reference materials (packing lists, invoices, customs documents, etc.)
- Physical requirements include ability to lift parts, stand for extended periods of time and dexterity for machine usage
- Willingness to learn and ability to adapt in a changing manufacturing environment
- Participation in and support of internal programs including safety, training, process improvement and cost management
- Physical requirements include ability to work in both office and shop settings
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
- Shipping & receiving: 2 years (preferred)
