POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Shipping & Warehouse Manager, this position is required to direct, co-ordinate and process all customer orders through the shipping department to meet the customer and company requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES Process, direct and log all onsite traffic.

Scale in all inbound freight for pick up.

Inspect and seal all US outbound loads.

Provide data entry services & trouble shoot data discrepancies within the computerized departmental systems.

Process, co-ordinate and finalize all loads for transportation.

Provide the required documentation for the transportation of all goods.

Performing other duties as required.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods certified. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS High school graduation plus computer software courses.

Knowledge of transportation laws and shipping procedures.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

Excellent data entry skills.

Solid organizational skills.

Ability to adapt quickly to change.
