Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our agile warehouse team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are properly received, stored, and dispatched. Your expertise will help maintain seamless warehouse operations, support order fulfillment processes, and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, and labeling products accurately to meet customer specifications.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain organized storage areas by properly stacking and storing inventory in designated warehouse zones.
- Utilize AS400 systems for inventory tracking, order processing, and updating shipment records in real-time.
- Assist with order picking and packing for e-commerce orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular warehouse distribution activities including stock rotation, cycle counts,



and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows and improve overall efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures during all shipping & receiving tasks to prevent accidents or damage.

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on shipping & receiving processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers confidently and safely; forklift certification preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP software, and AS400 platforms.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution procedures including load & unload activities.
- Experience with order fulfillment for e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Skilled in order picking, packaging techniques, and ensuring proper product labeling.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
