Role Description The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities and documentation, unloading trucks, and inspecting goods for accuracy and damage. The specialist will prepare outgoing orders by packing products securely, labeling shipments, and coordinating pickup and delivery schedules with carriers.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining organized warehouse areas, tracking inventory levels, updating inventory records, and assisting with cycle counts.



The role also involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely, following company and regulatory safety standards, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving processes, including verifying documentation and matching products to orders.
- Strong Packing and order preparation skills with attention to safe, accurate, and secure packaging.
- Experience with Inventory Control, including stock management, record updates, and participation in counts.
- Capability in Unloading shipments and handling materials safely and efficiently in a warehouse workplace.
- Safe Forklift Operation and use of other material-handling equipment, with certification preferred.
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse setting.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in meeting deadlines and following procedures.
- Basic computer skills for working with inventory and shipping systems; prior warehouse or distribution experience is an asset.
