CSM is currently looking for a Structural Fitter. The position will include, but not limited to structural fitting of miscellaneous steel Platforms, Ladders, Handrails, Grating, Pipe Supports, Misc. Vessel & Tank Work The successful candidate must be able to read structural detailed drawings and weld symbols, as well as take direction to complete a project.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Ability to work as a team, and express a positive attitude
- Torch/Plasma cutting various materials
- Prepare jigs & assist in bracing preparation for welding
- Capable of operating cutting, punching, saw equipment
- Fit up & weld members in accordance with the company’s safety & quality policy
- Operate overhead crane safely
- Operate Forklift

Experience – 2 Year minimum. Additional Overtime Pay where applicable

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $26.00-$32.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Sarnia, ON N7S 5N5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
- Structural Fitting: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- CWB Certification (preferred)
