Precision Plumbing & Heating is a licensed plumbing and heating contractor (RBQ 5739-7804-01, member CMMTQ) serving residential and commercial clients across the West Island. Our crews are on the road early every morning. The shop is what makes that possible.

About the role

We're looking for an organized, dependable Shop Manager to run our shop. You own the tools, the inventory, and the flow of materials in and out the door. You're the person who makes sure a truck never leaves short a fitting and never comes back with a tool that quietly disappears. You'll work daily with dispatch, our field crews, and our suppliers.

Responsibilities

- Sign inventory in and out and maintain accurate records of stock levels
- Track what's on the shelf versus what's on a truck or committed to a job, and conduct regular counts
- Order materials and place purchase orders with suppliers
- Receive deliveries, verify against packing slips and POs, and follow up on shortages or backorders
- Pick up materials from suppliers and deliver them to the shop or directly to jobsites
- Coordinate daily with dispatch to confirm the following day's job requirements and make sure materials are ordered, received, and staged ahead of time
- Sign all tools in and out and maintain the tool register
- Perform routine tool maintenance,



and send tools out for repair or warranty service and track their return
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe, with a labelled storage system anyone can navigate

Requirements

- Valid Quebec driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently without daily supervision
- Comfortable with basic computer work: inventory tracking, purchase orders, email
- Able to lift and handle materials on a regular basis
- Functional English and French
- Reliable and punctual — crews depend on the shop being ready before they arrive

Assets

- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, construction, or at a supply house
- Familiarity with West Island suppliers and plumbing/heating materials
- Prior inventory, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift

Work location: In person

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
