Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment is looking for a part-time Showroom Sales Representative to join our Edmonton team. Whether you've spent time front of house, back of house, or both, this is a role for someone who knows the foodservice industry from the inside and is ready to bring that knowledge into a customer-facing sales environment. You'll be the face of Russell Hendrix in the showroom, helping commercial customers find the right equipment solutions for their businesses while representing a brand with over 80 years of industry trust behind it.

What You'll Do
- Assist commercial customers in the showroom and by phone, delivering a high level of service in every interaction
- Use internal systems to invoice sales and look up product information as needed
- Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately, including daily cash close procedures
- Unpack, price, display, and merchandise products in the showroom
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom, warehouse, and front counter areas
- Maintain up-to-date catalogues and price lists at the front desk
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities
- Promote in-store demonstrations and events
- Count inventory as necessary
- Participate in product knowledge sessions and keep product knowledge current
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
- Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace
- Perform other related duties as required
Where You'll Work This is a part-time role (32 hours per week) based at our Edmonton showroom. You'll work in a customer-facing showroom and front counter environment, interacting with commercial customers on a daily basis
What You Bring
Education and Experience
- 2+ years of front of house or back of house foodservice experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Retail sales experience is considered an asset
Skills and Abilities
- Genuine enthusiasm for the foodservice industry and the products we sell
- Strong customer focus with the ability to deliver a high level of service consistently
- Clear and professional communicator, comfortable with both in-person and phone interactions
- Accurate and detail-oriented, with a solid focus on transaction and inventory accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Comfortable learning new internal systems
- Organized and able to manage competing priorities in a busy showroom environment
- Positive, professional, and able to maintain composure in fast-paced or stressful situations
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
