Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, and removing old materials to ensure proper adhesion of new siding or roofing components.
- Install various types of siding materials such as vinyl, wood, fiber cement, or metal with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Apply roofing materials including shingles, metal roofing systems efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for cutting, fastening, sealing, and finishing work.
- Lift heavy materials safely and assist with material handling on-site to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure durability, weatherproofing,



and aesthetic quality.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns.
- Construction experience with a focus on exterior building systems like siding and roofing.
- Strong carpentry skills for framing adjustments or trim work related to siding or roofing projects.
- Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing joints and seams effectively.
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or climbing ladders safely.
- Handyman experience is a plus for troubleshooting on-site issues quickly and efficiently.
