We are seeking a Skills for Success Instructor with strong understanding and experience in Adult Education, and a proven ability to support learners in applying newly gained skills to move into employment or future training. Partnerships are key to our success. We maintain strong connections across all regions of the province, including Indigenous Communities, workplaces, labour unions, non‑profits, and the Manitoba government.
It’s about having the right people at the table. We work in partnership with learners and community partners located in all regions of Manitoba, including Indigenous Communities.
This position is contract of varying lengths and delivery times. We deliver during the day, evenings, and weekends. Contract is based on the needs and availability of our learners and partners.
We will be looking at In-Person delivery as a priority for the Westman area. The Instruction expertise we are currently looking for is specialized in trades numeracy.
Must be open to travel within Westman region.
Work location: Brandon, Manitoba.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education or Adult Education Certificate or minimum of 2 years’ experience in Trades Instruction.
- Understanding of Skills for Success Framework is an asset.
- Ability to develop and deliver customized learning to multi‑level groups.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office).
- Experience and strength in building customized content that directly supports learning.
- Ability to plan engaging and interactive learning activities and tasks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Robust interpersonal skills.
- Strong self‑management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of cultural intelligence.
- Confident, personable, and engaging presenter.
· Ability to perform required administrative tasks to support WEM service deliveries including attendance and training summary reporting.
