Experienced Snow Removal Crew Members & Plow Truck Drivers The Tarcott Group is seeking Experienced Snow Removal Crew Members and Plow Truck Drivers for the upcoming 2026/2027 snow season.

We’re looking for reliable, experienced individuals to join our snow removal team. Experience with snow removal, hand shoveling, hand salting, and/or plow truck operation is required.

This is an on-call position with 24/7 availability. You’ll be contacted when snowfall is forecasted, and we’ll provide as much notice as possible. Work takes place throughout the Lower Mainland.

Qualifications

- Robust work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to work on-call, 24/7, Monday–Sunday
- Previous snow removal/salting or plow truck experience required
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation to our Aldergrove office, just off Hwy 1
- For plow truck drivers, previous experience operating a plow truck is required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in winter weather conditions
- Must provide your own personal safety gear, including waterproof outerwear, gloves, etc.

Responsibilities

Snow Removal Crew Members:





- Shovel and salt walkways and other areas as required
- Apply salt and perform grounds maintenance as directed
- Assist with snow clearing operations at various properties
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site as they arise

Plow Truck Drivers:

- Safely operate a company plow truck to clear snow from parking lots, driveways and access routes
- Complete pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections
- Apply salt or de-icing materials as directed
- Monitor site conditions and address snow and ice accumulation as required
- Work independently while following established routes and site-specific instructions
- Report any equipment, site or safety concerns promptly

Experience

- Snow removal: 3 years (required)
- Hand salting/shoveling: 3 years (required)
- Plow truck operation: Previous experience required for driver positions

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Experience

- Snow Plow Driving : 4 years (preferred)
- Snow Shoveling/Salting: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
- BC Driving Licence (preferred)
