Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Snow Removal Technician to join our team and help maintain safe, accessible outdoor environments during winter months. This role involves sidewalk maintenance duties including using walk-behind machines, backpack blowers, shovels, and ice chippers, as well as monitoring conditions and responding to complaints between snowfalls. All of our sites require attention to detail and care.

Pay: $22–$25/hour (based on experience)

Duties:

- Operate snow removal equipment such as walk-behinds and backpack blowers across designated sites
- Use hand shovels and ice chippers to clear pathways, driveways, and sidewalks as needed
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice buildup and ensure safe walking surfaces




- Collaborate with team members to prioritize routes and complete tasks promptly during snow events
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during snow clearing operations
- Complete safety documentation and report all accidents/incidents, first aids, and near misses

Requirements:

- Previous experience with snow maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with snow removal equipment such as backpack blowers and walk-behinds
- Solid physical stamina to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
- Reliable transportation required — snow removal operates around the clock, not just during snowfall, including complaint response and sidewalk monitoring
- Must have a working smartphone and be able to download and use SiteDocs (safety and snow logs) and Workforce (time clock) — training provided
- Reliable and dependable
