Mission

: Keep the Snowflake platform secure, reliable, performant, and cost-controlled day to day.

Key responsibilities:

- Administer warehouses, resource monitors, and account-level configuration and parameters.

- Manage security and access: RBAC role hierarchy, user and service-account provisioning, network policies, and SSO/SCIM integration.

- Monitor consumption and compute, set budgets and alerts, and drive continuous cost optimization.

- Own DevOps practices: infrastructure-as-code, automated deployments, and workplace management.

- Implement platform observability — logging, monitoring, and alerting — and lead incident response and root-cause analysis.

- Manage backup/recovery (Time Travel, replication, failover)



and support business-continuity requirements.

Qualifications

- 3+ years in platform/DevOps or database administration;

experience with cloud infrastructure, IaC (e.g., Terraform, Snowflake provider), and CI/CD

- Solid understanding of security and governance controls; on-call/incident-management experience a plus.

- SnowPro Core (and Administrator track) certification preferred.
