Existing Regular Continuing Full-Time (Grant Funded)Full-time: YesPermanent: YesWork schedule: 35 Hours/week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm)Salary: $23.13 to $33.29 per hour ($42,096.60 to $60,587.80 per annum)Expected Start Date September 1, 2026QualificationsMINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION/TRAINING:An undergraduate degree in psychology, psychology science, or a related field is required.EXPERIENCE:Experience with behavioural scientific research (academic, student research, or thesis work) required, in psychology, cognitive science, linguistics, or related discipline preferred.Experience with research participant recruitment preferred.Experience in research involving children and families is an asset.An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with research participants, team members, the public and internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work both collaboratively and independently required.Ability to utilize and learn on-line tools for communication and collaboration in carrying out activities such as OSF, GitHub, Slack, Google docs required.Strong attention to detail required.Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds required.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Ability to effectively manage administrative tasks required.Must be conscientious and organized in carrying out duties.Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office suite products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.Knowledge and experience using social media platforms required.Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.Key responsibilitiesMaintain the shared “Healthy Human Development” (HHD) RedCap database, including record‑keeping, adding participants,
generating study recruitment call lists, and troubleshooting/interfacing with RedCap for any technical support needs.Maintain both labs’ and HHD social media presence and website.Organize booths at local community events.Create brochures and posters.Communicate with participants by phone and email, schedule appointments, and maintain records of participant information within HHD and each lab’s individual record‑keeping systems.Communicate with community service organizations and health providers about lab activities by phone, email, and in‑person meetings, as needed.Create, organize, and update documents related to research activities for both laboratories.Plan for upcoming events/tasks through ongoing communication with the supervisors and extra‑mural collaborator colleagues, and weekly or bi‑weekly meetings with team members.Maintain records of team meetings and communication.Coordinate student research assistant activities and ensure that necessary testing equipment (e.G. computers and sound systems, paper questionnaires and consent forms, iPads, participant compensation) is available and functioning for scheduled testing.Ensure that existing policies, protocols,
