We are seeking an experienced Subsea Equipment Engineer to support offshore operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing activities at a subsea facility, supporting the secure and reliable operation of subsea equipment, and managing interfaces with service providers.
Responsibilities
Coordination of Equipment preparation and testing for Offshore execution.
Coordination of Storage, Preservation and Maintenance of Subsea Inventory.
Engineering support for subsea operational issues including studies and coordinating procurement and testing.
Site Client Representative responsible for overseeing contractor work scopes and verification of component factory acceptance testing (FAT)/extended factory acceptance testing (EFAT).
Managing and facilitating component site acceptance testing (SAT)/site integration testing (SIT).
Participating on special projects and the Subsea Well Delivery process as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering, P.Eng.
Member in good standing or eligible for Qualified Engineer status with Qualified Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL).
10+ years of offshore oil and gas experience in Subsea Controls equipment and systems.
Experience in Engineering design, fabrication and testing for oil and gas equipment.
Knowledge of industry standards for offshore oil and gas equipment.
Experience with offshore Subsea installation scopes.
Contract and facilities management experience.
