Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service from ordering to seating and payment processing
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct transactions
Prepare and serve food items following safety and sanitation standards, maintaining cleanliness throughout the front of house area
Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales prospects through friendly recommendations
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and food safety protocols to assist guests effectively




Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service and a positive dining experience

Skills
Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for accurate order entry and payment processing
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating totals quickly and accurately
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure a clean setting
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus but not required
