Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential and commercial electrical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovation and new construction, ensuring safety and compliance with electrical codes. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safety across all electrical tasks.

Duties
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform installation and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Work on renovation projects, current construction, service repair/upgrade while adhering to safety standards.
Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to ensure electrical components are correctly integrated.




Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work, including handling low voltage systems safely.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications
Valid 309A Journeyperson Electrician license or certification.
Class G license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a residential / commercial electrician with a robust background in construction and renovation.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Prior experience in generators, and Muskoka custom cottages is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$44.00 per hour
