We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment using hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment
Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections
Operate and troubleshoot industrial equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery as needed
Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to identify issues and implement solutions
Utilize welding skills for repairs requiring metal fabrication or structural modifications
Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems




Assist in the assembly or disassembly of mechanical components for repair or replacement
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly

Qualifications
Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician; dealership experience is a plus
Automotive service technician qualifications and red seal is preferred
Robust mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or cranes is desirable
Knowledge of automotive repair standards and maintenance procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
Relevant certifications or licenses related to automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are preferred but not required

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
