NVT Logistics Ltd has an immediate opening for experienced Combo/Hydrovac Operators to join our expanding company in the Fort St. John area. Full-time positions available with advantages and competitive wages.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist to perform pre-start & complete hazards assessments, and equipment and report all deficiencies to supervisors immediately and required paperwork
General Hydrovac/combo work, exposing and locating underground utilities, tank cleaning etc.
Exposing telecommunication lines and conduits.
Completely implement company procedures for safe work practices
Operate equipment in a safe and professional manner
Ensure all Hydrovac truck equipment and components are always in a good working condition
Follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping
Perform minor repairs to truck as needed
Work around shop as needed
Maintain and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
Compliance with all company rules and procedures
Any other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following:




Valid Class 3 Driver’s license.
Operator on a truck for minimum of 3 year
Good communication skills
Safety Tickets: First Aid & AED/CPR, CSTS-09, WHMIS, TDG, H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection
Adaptable work schedule to accommodate production needs
Must have own transportation, willing to work out of town and in all seasons
Must complete a mandatory Pre- Employment paperwork
Energetic, confident self-starters, with a solid work ethic
Physical ability to perform work
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test pre-employment and post incident (or be in compliance with our drug and alcohol program)

Compensation based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
