As part of the Xenon team, the Animal Care Technician will perform husbandry duties and maintain high standards of animal welfare in a well-regarded research facility. This in office role involves meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to ethical practices in animal care. Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily husbandry services for mice and rats
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the research facility
Monitor animal health according to CCAC guidelines
Accurately document health checks and manage health records
Assist with research procedures in collaboration with the team Requirements:
Desired post-secondary education in life sciences
Previous experience with animal care is advantageous
Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in teams
