Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our auto-service team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Prior auto or mechanic experience is valued, along with strong sales and upselling abilities. The Service Advisor will play a vital role in building customer trust, recommending appropriate services, and managing repair orders efficiently.

Duties
Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing rapport and understanding their vehicle concerns
Explain repair and maintenance services clearly, providing accurate estimates and timelines
Collaborate with technicians to diagnose vehicle issues and communicate findings to customers
Upsell additional services or products that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, repair orders, and service history
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships




Assist in promoting auto services and special offers to maximize sales opportunities
Ensure compliance with safety standards and dealership policies at all times

Qualifications
Previous auto experience or mechanic background is preferred, with strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively to clients
Proven sales ability with experience in upselling services or products
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing repair orders and documentation
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
