Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will plan and implement developmentally appropriate programming for young children and support curriculum development within a collaborative early learning environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional and social development
Develop and maintain a protected, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Observe and document children’s development and progress
Guide and support children in daily routines and learning experiences
Communicate effectively with families regarding children’s progress and development
Collaborate with colleagues in planning and implementing curriculum
Contribute to curriculum development and reflective practice within the program
Integrate child-centred and inquiry-based approaches into daily programming
Ensure compliance with Alberta childcare licensing regulations
Maintain health,



safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications
Completion of a recognized Early Childhood Education program
Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification Level 3
Experience working in a licensed childcare setting
Strong understanding of child development principles
Knowledge of child-centred and inquiry-based curriculum approaches
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

Candidates must hold a valid Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification.
