As a Recruiter at Canadian Tire you will be supporting executive recruitment operations. You will play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent that supports the Company's purpose of "Making Life in Canada Better." In this 12-month contract opportunity, you'll partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders, delivering recruitment solutions across a diverse portfolio of corporate roles. This role requires you to be onsite 4 days a week in-office.ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse portfolio of executive and corporate job requisitions, handling multiple positions simultaneously in a high-volume environmentOversee the complete recruitment lifecycle: pipelining top talent, sourcing passive and active prospects, screening applicants, presenting candidates to hiring managers, coordinating and conducting interviews, advising on candidate selection, extending and negotiating offers, and managing administrative tasksDevelop and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, candidates, and subject-matter experts; set expectations clearly, develop strong recruitment strategies and talent recommendationsEfficiently manage the recruitment process using the Applicant Tracking System (Workday)
to ensure accurate recruitment metrics; utilize recruitment tools such as Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Database, and othersParticipate in and support special projects in collaboration with HR Ops, Workday Architecture, and other stakeholders as neededRequirements3–5+ years of corporate recruitment experience, including executive recruitment experience; agency experienceconsidered a strong assetDemonstrated ability to manage a high-volume desk with multiple job requisitions simultaneously at various recruitment stagesProven experience in full-cycle recruitment and building excellent relationships with stakeholdersStrong communication skills and the ability to act as a brand ambassadorExperience with Applicant Tracking Systems/HRIS systems and various recruitment sourcing tools; Workday experience a strong assetCompensation & BenefitsThe typical hiring range is between $27.00 and $45.00 per hour.
