This position is responsible for providing solid inter-department and external communication between production, shipping, and finance departments for inventory incoming and outgoing.$26-28 hourly wageResponsibilitiesProcess shipments following administrative and storage processesReceive incoming deliveries: oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks etc.Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping instructionsInspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goodsScan and sort incoming stock and route goods to appropriate storage areasMaintain internal record-keeping systemsIf licensed and trained, operate a forklift, hand truck or other equipmentKnow and diligently follow secure storage, handling and shipping procedures for various chemicals and materialsReceiving, stocking, and stackingCreate, improve, and maintain existing order processes across all departmentsProvide feedback,



suggestions, and support for health and safety protocols within the workplaceQualifications & Experience1+ years of logistics experience and importing goods2+ years of customer service experienceForklift experience and qualification an asset; must be willing/engagedto learn and operate a forklift when certified as part of regular job dutiesMicrosoft Office Suite experience and ability, adept/open to do reporting and communicationsRegular hours with the potential to do overtime, required in high season Jan to JuneExcellent written, verbal, telephonic, and digital communication with superb customer service skillsProblem-solving, multitasking and teamwork skillsAbility to count and organize/reorganize oneself with changing priorities and adjust to last-minute changesComfortable and experienced working in hot and potentially cooler conditions/outside workKnowledge of smaller areas (i.E. towns, farming communities) of Ontario where our clients are an assetPlease note that AI-assisted tools may be used to support the preliminary screening of applications.
