You could even become a shareholder in the company.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Civil Engineering Trainee to join our Municipal & Transportation Design team in one of our GTA offices.As an Engineering Trainee, you will be completing assignments on a wide diversity of Civil Engineering projects, including civil, municipal, infrastructure, transit, transportation, healthcare, energy & resources, water & wastewater.You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and one of our GTA offices. This position is open forMississauga, Toronto, Bowmanville, and Markham.Primary ResponsibilitiesWorking on a team with other project engineers and designers on the EA, preliminary, detailed design, and construction support.Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers and other professional staff on project coordination tasks including preparing engineering drawings and documents, reports and memos preparation, calculations, project scheduling, proposal preparation, client interaction, construction inspection, and quality control and assurance.



Bachelor’s degree in Civil or other applicable Engineering discipline.Design and drafting for the preparation of civil works drawings under direction from Project Engineer or Project Manager.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil or other applicable Engineering disciplineMinimum of two years experienceRegistration with Professional Engineers Ontario (EIT) or ability to obtainExcellent communications skills in English (both spoken and written)Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office softwareKnowledge in AutoCAD/Civil3D, or Microstation/OpenRoads is an assetA valid driver’s license and access to a vehicleBenefitsWhy choose CIMA+?
