You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping our online presence, creating content that resonates with our customers, and developing a social strategy designed to increase reach and engagement.

Compensation: Starting at $21/hour

THE ROLE:

As our Social Media & Content Coordinator, you’ll manage The Pink Door’s social media presence across platforms including Instagram and TikTok. You’ll be responsible for developing, filming, editing, and publishing content while using trends, platform insights, and performance data to continuously improve our strategy.

This is a highly hands-on creative role. We’re looking for someone who is equally comfortable behind the camera, in front of the camera, and analyzing what makes content perform well.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Manage The Pink Door’s social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on growing reach, engagement, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.
- Create short-form video content from concept through final edit, including Reels, TikToks, product features, styling content, and in-store content.
- Film high-quality product, brand, lifestyle, and behind-the-scenes content in-store.




- Confidently appear on camera, model clothing, and speak directly to camera when needed.
- Identify current trends, formats, sounds, cultural moments, and internet trends and adapt them strategically for the brand.
- Apply a strong understanding of framing, angles, pacing, transitions, and storytelling to create compelling content.
- Edit engaging vertical video optimized for Instagram and TikTok.
- Build and maintain a social media content calendar, ensuring content is delivered consistently and aligned with marketing priorities and campaigns.
- Monitor platform analytics and content performance to identify what is working and to optimize future content.
- Coordinate with in-store staff to plan filming times, locations, product availability, and other content needs.
- Support retail sales and customer service during periods when necessary.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

- Experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, fashion, or retail.
- A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video content.
- Video filming and editing skills.
- Strong visual instincts and an eye for fashion, styling, composition, and aesthetics.
- Genuine interest in fashion and awareness of current trends and cultural moments.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and modelling clothing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to immediate priorities.

NICE TO HAVE:

- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in marketing, communications, digital media, fashion, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing social media accounts for a fashion, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brand.
- Previous experience working in a retail environment.
