Company Description

EvolveX helps employers evaluate early-career talent and career switchers through real work rather than traditional resumes or AI-polished applications. We are helping SEATARRA INGREDIENTS find their next full-time, part-time or contract Social Media Manager. Candidates complete structured Proof Cohorts, and an AI Validation Engine transforms their work artifacts, process signals, and feedback into trusted Evidence Packs.

This approach gives organizations a safer way to shortlist, trial-hire, and develop talent while providing career builders with sponsorship and proof to access meaningful opportunities. EvolveX is backed by Loyal VC, a global early-stage venture fund supporting mission-driven founders, offering a strong foundation for innovation and growth.

Role Description The Social Media Manager (Volunteer) will plan, create, and publish content across EvolveX’s social media channels to increase brand awareness and engage target audiences. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing social media campaigns, optimizing posts for reach and engagement, monitoring performance metrics, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.

The role also involves collaborating with team members to align content with broader marketing and communication goals, maintaining a consistent brand voice, and identifying opportunities to highlight success stories and product updates.

This is a volunteer, hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to manage and grow online communities.
- Strong Communication and Writing abilities to craft clear, engaging, and inclusive messages for diverse audiences.
- Experience with Content Strategy to plan, organize, and schedule campaigns that support organizational goals.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and basic data interpretation to track performance and inform improvements.
- Ability to collaborate in a hybrid workplace, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in startup, talent development, or education sectors is an asset but not required.
- Comfort working in a volunteer capacity and interest in mission-driven, impact-focused organizations.
