Role Description The Social Media Manager at EvolveX will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social platforms to grow brand awareness and community engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing social media calendars, writing posts, optimizing content for each platform, monitoring performance metrics, and responding to audience interactions in a timely and skilled manner. The role will also collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging with campaigns, highlight candidate and employer success stories, and experiment with new formats such as short-form video, live sessions,



or thought leadership threads.

This is a contract role based in Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site collaboration with the option to work from home for part of the week.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with experience managing brand accounts across multiple platforms.
- Ability to develop and execute effective Content Strategy tailored to specific audiences and channels.
- Excellent Writing skills, including crafting clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate copy for posts and campaigns.
- Effective Communication skills, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and professional interaction with online communities.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and ability to interpret data to refine content and campaign performance.
- Experience with early-career talent, education technology, HR tech, or related fields is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
