About the Job

CCX Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our small but growing Avionics and Network Engineering team.

In this role, you will work directly on our main software stack SystemX, a Linux-based operating system that powers CCX hardware across aerospace and defence environments. SystemX secures, manages, and connects critical real-time operational networks, combining routing, network security, and data collection. We are looking for a curious, motivated individual who can quickly pick up complex technical skills under the guidance of senior engineers and apply them to build new features and fix bugs.

This is a unique chance to build a broad base of engineering skills and contribute in a meaningful way as the company grows.

What You Will Do

- Developing and implementing new features for SystemX.
- Learning complex technical concepts and tools to solve hands-on engineering problems.
- Investigating, debugging, and fixing software bugs supported by root cause analysis.
- Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.




- Collaborating with software engineers and systems engineers to build effective technical solutions.
- Documenting new features and software updates.

Qualifications & Assets

- Motivation & Curiosity: A strong desire to learn, adapt, and expand your technical breadth.
- Core Fundamentals: Solid foundation in data structures and object-oriented programming. Ability to break down complex technical problems and perform root cause analysis when debugging.
- Domain Knowledge (Asset): Experience with networking, avionics, military systems, or industrial control systems is highly beneficial.
- Passion for Engineering (Asset): We highly value candidates who demonstrate an interest in engineering beyond academic or professional obligations—such as contributing to open-source software, building personal/extra-curricular projects, or participating in engineering clubs.
