Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a recent Purchaser to join their team. This is a 1-year maternity coverage position but may become a permanent role for the right candidate.Position DetailsOffice-based position located in Chetwynd, BCMonday to Friday7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)Approximately one-year term with potential for permanent employmentPrimary ResponsibilitiesPurchasing materials and services using the Limble CMMSCoordinating parts procurement and deliveriesCommunicating with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery schedulesCoordinating logistics for shipments to our operating facilitiesWorking closely with Maintenance and Operations to ensure materials are available when requiredSafety administration items and system management as requiredOccasional travel to our plant sites may be required. Company transportation will be provided.Preferred QualificationsPrevious purchasing experienceParts or industrial supply background preferredExperience working in maintenance, oil & gas, or an industrial environment would be considered an assetStrong organizational, communication,
