That’s the KGS way.The RoleAs a Municipal Design Drafter, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Participate in the Municipal Design process from proposal stage through to completionWork collaboratively with the greater design team including other disciplinesWork in a design drafting capacity for small to large Municipal Projects (Sewer, water, land drainage, land development, etc.)Contribute to the production of Report Figures, Preliminary, Tender, and Construction PackagesPerform design calculations and present them in a logical and organized mannerManage Project Data (Drawing Files, Models,



Topographic Survey, Design Calculations, etc.)Assist in drawing production, plotting and deliveryEnsure drawing development adheres to Company/Client Drafting Standards with emphasis on quality assurance and Project ScheduleMay occasionally be required to work overtimeAbout YouExcellent knowledge in CADDiploma in a Civil Engineering Technology program from a recognized post‑secondary InstituteExperience in Civil Design Drafting with demonstrated technical abilitiesC. Tech. and/or C.E.T. registration would be an assetExperience in AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience in MicroStation Software would be an assetStrong attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skillsSalary and Benefits (Thunder Bay only)The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $75,000 annually.
