Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service.

Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks; report any mechanical issues promptly
Assist with freight documentation, including delivery receipts and shipping manifests
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules
Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure compliance with company safety standards




Conduct automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues when necessary to minimize downtime

Skills
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
Knowledge of automotive repair and basic troubleshooting skills
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery
