Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and securely
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate schedules and address issues promptly
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or other machinery required for freight handling when needed




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues and ensure optimal performance

Requirements
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of safety procedures, transportation regulations, and best practices for cargo security
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and related equipment
Solid communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road
