Location: Markham, ONPosition: Senior Engineer – QMSPosition SummaryThe Senior Engineer – QMS is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO, IATF, and other relevant industry standards. This role ensures adherence to customer requirements, drives process improvements, and supports audits across the organization.Key AttributesStrategic Thinker: Anticipates future customer and product requirements, aligning quality objectives, systems, and processes accordingly.Business-Centric: Focuses on reducing non-conformities and enforcing compliance.Adaptable: Navigates complexity and changing priorities with agility.Collaborative: Builds alignment across teams, including engineering, operations, and support functions.ResponsibilitiesProcess DevelopmentDevelop, implement, and maintain QMS procedures in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.AuditCoordinate and support internal, external, and customer audits.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, etc.Business SupportMonitor production processes to identify and resolve quality issues.Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.Documentation & ReportingPrepare and maintain quality documentation such as PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA,
