Reporting to the Substation Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of professionals at our Coldbrook location.ResponsibilitiesDirect and perform all aspects of installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic plant on the Transmission/Distribution System (e.G., reclosers, breakers, transformers, controls, protective relays, telecommunication, thermal and hydro equipment).Travel throughout the province for work related to maintenance, reliability and customer restoration.Temporarily assigned to other locations to assist other areas when required and will be expected to travel throughout the province.Participate in regulatory training and on-the-job training or programs that support development of additional skills.Responsible for personal safety, that of co-workers and those under your direction by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.Accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.Your primary residence must be located within 30 minutes of headquarters, and you will be available for after hour emergency service restoration including rotational standby duty if required.This position is considered a safety sensitive position.
