Accelerate community support as a Development Associate with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Recent Westminster, BC. Drive grant writing and enhance communication strategies within a supportive setting.

This position requires a proactive approach to writing proposals and grants to expand Lookout’s program offerings. You will also manage external communications through social media and assist in organizing special events. Understanding Lookout’s mission and confidentiality policies is paramount to fulfilling your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Write proposals to secure funding and renew existing grants
• Create engaging content for social media and newsletters
• Analyze media stories and report on program visibility




• Coordinate event planning for public announcements
• Manage media interactions during fundraising campaigns

Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education in a related discipline
• Proven writing and editing skills in a nonprofit context
• Solid knowledge of digital tools including MS Office
• First Aid Training and explicit criminal record check needed
• Capacity to foster relationships within a diverse community
