Airborne Engines Ltd. is a Transport Canada, EASA, Rolls-Royce, and Ozark Aeroworks certified helicopter engine MRO facility based in Delta, BC. Established in 1991, we specialize in Rolls-Royce M250 and Ozark Model T53 turbine engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul for military and commercial operators. About the Role
We're looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our finance team, reporting to the Controller. You'll own the day-to-day accounts payable and receivable functions for the company, working in Business Central and collaborating closely with operations and finance. This is a hands-on role in a small, tight-knit team where accuracy and follow-through matter.

What You'll Do

Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time

Manage accounts receivable: invoicing, collections follow-up, and reconciliations

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies





Maintain accurate records in Business Central

Support month-end close processes

Liaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues

Assist with administrative tasks and support other departments as neede d

What We're Looking For
Required

2+ years of hands-on AP/AR experience or relevant experience

Proficient in Business Central or similar ERP (QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and organized under deadlines

Clear communicator, comfortable following up with vendors and internal stakeholders

Reliable and accountable

Nice to Have

Experience in a manufacturing, trades, or industrial environment

Exposure to inventory or purchasing processes

Accounting diploma or post-secondary coursework in finance or business

What We Offer

Competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $63,000, based on experience

Eligible for annual performance bonus
