GrizzlyTrek is hiring a Telecommunications Heavy Equipment Operator in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This full time role provides hourly wages of $38 to $40, along with a $170 daily Living Out Allowance, on a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecommunications construction and operation of heavy machinery, particularly winch cats, dozers, and excavators. The job demands precision in conduit installation and a commitment to safety and project specifications while working across wide-ranging landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate dozer, excavator, and winch cat for installation projects
• Conduct trenching and bedding for conduit correctly
• Winch equipment through soft ground and challenging grades




• Maintain accurate depth and alignment during operations
• Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections and engage in safety talks

Requirements:
• Proven experience in telecommunications construction
• Valid Class 5 licence without infractions
• Current safety certifications: CSTS, Ground Disturbance, H2S Alive
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Experience working in outdoor environments
