Overview
Society for Autism Support and Services (SASS) requires an enthusiastic and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a full-time term certain position.
As a member of a dynamic transdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide consultation and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, their families, and program staff across our Early Support, School Age, and Out of Home Living programs.
Training and ongoing mentorship from a supportive team will be provided regarding SASS’ philosophy, including the use of AAC, Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions, and neurodiversity affirming practices, with a focus on engagement and individualized learning.
The role involves work in diverse settings (family homes, community locations, SASS preschool, and our Out of Home Living Program) and requires flexible hours (e.g., daytimes, after-school,
some evenings).
Qualifications
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized University
- Registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
- Clear Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check and Intervention Record Check
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
