Position OverviewAecon Construction Solutions Inc. (ACSI) is a multi-disciplined construction company offering superior civil, electrical and mechanical services including piping, insulation, scaffolding, and module fabrication. ACSI is seeking Electrician Journeypersons to support projects with a strong commitment to safety and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesInstalling cable tray and conduit and terminating cable, locating and installing equipment, panels, sensors and other control components and devices.Fabricate control panels and perform wiring check‑out.Responsible for laying out circuits, setting up breaker panels, and junction boxes; install light fixtures and other electrical equipment.Ensure all electrical installations follow applicable regulations and trade practices.Install, alter, repair and maintain a wide range of electrical equipment for safe, efficient and environmentally sound operation.Pull wire through conduits and cables through tray systems.Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment.Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment such as switches,



relays and circuit breaker panels.Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety; replace or repairfollowing proper installation guidelines.Mentor apprentices respectfully and oversee their safety.Requirements and ExperienceValid RED SEAL Journeyperson Ticket.CSTS‑20 Certificate.Fall Protection – In Class.Mobile Elevated Work Platform – In Class.Experience as an Electrician in an industrial construction environment.Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced setting.Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 25kg.Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments.Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and policies.Fluency in English, both written and verbal.Project InformationProject: BHP Wet Mill SMPEI JANSEN POTASH MINELocation: Leroy, SKRate: $50.00 per hourOvertime: as per collective agreementSchedule: 14x7Camp: Yes, Jansen Discovery LodgeAllowances: Travel based on proof of residency.
