we'd love to have you on our team.About The RoleThis is a 6 - 12 month contract positionThe Audit Transportation Specialist will be working closely with the Audit Operations Team, to ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of auditing supplies, including receipt and collection of audit samples composed of blue box materials.Collaborating on the audit sample scheduleOperate a 20ft commercial box truck collecting audit samples in super sacs across OntarioComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and other documentation requested by Supervisor dailyCommunicate vehicle mechanical problems to Supervisor immediatelyMaintain route quality standards as predetermined by managementFollow all safety standards, vehicle checks and precautions in performance of all dutiesComply with all company rules on safety and vehicle operation including any required Recycling Facility (RF) specific rules or regulations.Communicate any potential hazards in delivering/picking up sacs to Supervisor prior to performing taskMaintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exteriorReport all accidents or incidents to Supervisor immediatelyExhibit a professional demeanor, manner and appearance at all timesEnsure that all required personal protective equipment be worn at all times.May be required to work overtime and overnight stays may be requiredPerform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by managementWhat We Need From YouHighly organized with attention to detailExcellent communications skills both written and verbalHave basic understanding of routing and logisticsMust have experience driving a 20ft commercial box truckMust have an understanding of Hours of ServiceMust be familiar with pre and post trip inspectionsPossess a valid G – Class License with a clean abstractMinimum one (1) year of Commercial driving experienceMust be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment (ie. pallet jack)What We OfferComprehensive Health Benefits: We’ve got you covered with Health, Dental, and Vision insurance.RRSP Matching Program: Plan for the future with confidence—our employer-matching RRSP contributions help you build long‑term security.Wellness Account: Your well‑being matters.
