Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced, licensed Part Time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role requires confident, high volume pharmacy experience, responsible for delivering pharmaceutical care and ensuring medication safety for improved patient quality of life.

Duties

- Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to medical terminology and pharmacy protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review prescriptions, ensuring appropriate medication therapy for pediatric and adult patients
- Provide expert guidance on medication administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions to patients and staff
- Maintain comprehensive patient care records, documenting all medication dispensed and consultations provided
- Educate patients on proper medication use, including dosage, timing, and potential adverse effects




- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices to uphold the highest standards of pharmacy operations

Qualifications

- Valid pharmacist license with active registration in the relevant jurisdiction
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and pediatric pharmacology
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and inventory control software

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 – 21.0 per week
