Metrolinx is looking for a Rail Fleet Equipment Officer to enhance locomotive and coach performance from our Willowbrook Rail Maintenance Facility. This position demands technical expertise and teamwork. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the condition of locomotives and coaches and executing maintenance standards. You will collaborate in developing procurement guidelines while providing key recommendations for equipment improvements.

Your role is vital for maintaining excellent transit operations. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with procurement criteria formulation
Propose design alterations for recent fleet equipment
Establish and review maintenance procedures
Lead modification projects for locomotives
Resolve equipment issues with corrective actions Requirements:
Completion of Engineering Technology diploma
Experience with heavy equipment in transit industries
Knowledge of regulatory standards from Transport Canada
Current Ontario class “G” driver’s licence
Familiarity with Microsoft applications, PowerBI a bonus Leverage your engineering background and project leadership skills to contribute meaningfully to Metrolinx.
