About us The Maple Staple is a bookstore located at Stock Yards Mall, Nations Experience Building Second Floor (1980 St. Claire Ave, Toronto, ON, M6N0A3). The bookstore showcases different niche of books including fiction, non fiction, sci-fi, love story, adult, romance and etc. The Maple Staple strives to offer excellent books to the customer and premium customer service to the visitors.

We are seeking a Bookstore Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:
Welcome and identify customer needs
Explain products and services to customers
Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
Enter and process customer orders
Update inventory trackers, mailer trackers, marketing trackers,and other documents.
Take pictures of books and other products for reporting and marketing purposes.
Coordinate with the different departments of the company.
Maintain cleanliness of the bookstore.




Other bookstore and office related tasks as instructed by the owner.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced setting
Ability to build rapport with customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Robust negotiation skills
Experience in Google Docs and Sheets is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour
