We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team! In this role, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional service and expert product knowledge to our diverse clientele. As a key contributor, you'll help showcase our products through engaging demos, assist customers with their needs, and ensure a seamless checkout experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a vibrant retail setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Assist with merchandising efforts to keep displays attractive, organized, and fully stocked
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage cashiering duties including basic math calculations and cash handling with accuracy
- Maintain excellent communication with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in technology or related fields
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English
- Experience with product demos and technical sales is highly desirable
- Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging customers both in person and over the phone
- Basic math skills necessary for transactions and inventory management
