Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Sterilization Assistant, where your role is vital in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of medical instruments used in patient care. You will be responsible for the proper sterilization, packaging, and handling of surgical tools and medical devices, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services. Duties

- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners following strict protocols
- Prepare and organize instruments for sterilization, ensuring correct sorting and packaging
- Verify the cleanliness and integrity of medical tools before sterilization processes
- Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and quality checks
- Follow all safety guidelines related to handling biohazardous materials and chemicals
- Assist with inventory management by restocking sterilized supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages




- Support the cleaning and maintenance of sterilization areas to uphold hygiene standards

Qualifications

- Basic understanding of medical terminology and sterilization procedures
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume workplace while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare staff
- Prior experience in a healthcare or sterile processing environment is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adhere to evolving safety protocols
